What if your summer project helped thousands of people better understand science and health?
Join Mentoring in Medicine’s Summer of Science, Service & Scholarship Program and work alongside researchers, graduate students, and healthcare professionals to transform scientific research into videos, presentations, social media campaigns, and educational resources for the public.
Participants will collaborate in teams, receive mentorship from scientists and healthcare professionals, and gain valuable experience in research, leadership, communication, and public engagement.
Participants Will:
Work with researchers and graduate student mentors
Learn how to communicate science to the public
Create videos, presentations, and educational campaigns
Earn community service hours
Receive a Letter of Participation
Strengthen college, graduate school, and medical school applications
Flexible & Fully Remote
Teams will establish meeting times that work best for their members. Some teams may meet during the day, while others may meet in the evening.
